Sara the riot

The war-gliding, brutal heat steam-fields the arena for the battle star. Agonizing pain filters through the sheets of Orlando City, tormenting the crowd beneath 90 degrees of relentless sun. What we call animals gives me a shoulder check and a fist against my cheeks. Beer and blood—the engraving dizziness nourishes my sense of hope for an equalizer for the Prides: 0-1 Royals. Guilt clicks; time is still running. A pass from Marta, and another from Banda. Then a waving bleach washes over the stands.

Sara the riot. Lions of Judah.

You sprint into the final script of the rectangles. Against the last 2 minutes of relentless pressure, you strike the ball as though it were your first chance. The crowd erupts; an equalizer carves its line into history. You dash toward my fist pump—a dab, then a high-five—until our foreheads meet in sweat and tears. Your blonde smile, and your heart four before overtime.

Don't let the furies and false beliefs break your heart in despair.

Whatever brings you down

Will eventually make you stronger.

Time to rise.

Odense

A prism of grievous peace. Picturesque ladder squares and the green triangles beguile my footsteps of correction. Nobody affines to hold my hand, but my mother, who's not here. My tears welcome my knees in 90 degrees to celebrate my 50th lap around the mirrors, reflecting my last 40 cursive letters. I close my eyes and pray. The world stops like the dances of dimensions, unity of 180s, the ghushing winds fortight my future in turquoise. 84 years of conversation mark me back to the reflections of your impeccable smile and white flowers around your neck. Bouquet of skies and your glowing strands of blonde hair compliment your color of perfection. Our foreheads meet, the sixth sense you're counting on. You cover my eyes as it starts pouring. You are part of my community.  You don't need to worry about isolation. You will hold my hand to the cathedrals. You won't ever leave me under the sunshines and the mallets.  You were part of me from the start. You prayed for us before...

when the world falls upon its axis

A view of an Irish turquoise-blue sky knocks on the crown of my forehead for a fresh new start. Neptune glazes, and the drizzling echoes delight my mind at divine perfection. A moment of silence is observed as rain kisses my chin, and the prayer begins. The tempest and the English capitals wash the contemptuous lies and regrets on my cheeks, so that the reminders of uncertainty are under control, my soul and my mind align in the power of concentration. I appreciate the World and the creation, whilst both my hands gesture my gratitude for the sublime cold of happiness. When I open my eyes, the gaze of your blue eyes from the other side of the pier gives me a sign to celebrate my birthday at 3 am. Long white dress, the heels of juvenile footsteps fathom the reasons to stay present in the third stanza. My heart races as your blonde hair touches my forearms, then you start the countdown, as you cover my eyes with your cold hands. Thank you for being patient. Thank you for waiti...

Nashville breeze

I enter the rupture of calamity, unmesmerized by the stained glass of a five-year-old clock. The provocative thoughts are like bread tamed in fire. The two flawless alignments of pews guide me to the rug of infinity, whilst my emotions delight at the sacred rooftops and the book of Life. Feather-like footsteps discern the enlightenment as the girl in a white t-shirt and gray shorts unfurls the silence. You stand behind my back and place your cold hands on my eyes.  Thank you for being part of my Monday. I debated waking up early. Before it's too late, I wanted to make sure to kneel down and pray for my beautiful family. Come and join me.
